Philadelphia is about to witness the ultimate showdown in sports entertainment as Wrestlemania XL rolls into town on April 6th and 7th, 2024. Fans eagerly await two nights packed with electrifying matches and jaw-dropping moves, including the much-anticipated in-ring return of the People’s Champ, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

The road to Wrestlemania XL has been nothing short of tumultuous. The Royal Rumble set the stage for a clash between the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns, but The Rock’s surprise entry threw a wrench into Cody’s plans, sending the WWE universe into confusion. There was another twist in the turn with Cody choosing to face Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania for the Undisputed Universal Championship. Enter Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, whose allegiance added another layer of complexity to the unfolding drama. Standing by Cody’s side, Rollins has vowed to take down the Bloodline. Past Friday on Smackdown, with Seth accepting The Rock’s challenge of a tag match between the team of The Rock and Roman Reigns against the team of Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes, the two nights of Wrestlemania XL have become more interesting.

On the first night, all eyes will be on the in-ring return of the Brahma Bull as he teams up with his cousin, the Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns, to take on the team of Cody Rhodes and WWE Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. The outcome of this match will determine the fate of the main event on night two. If Rollins and Rhodes emerge victorious, Cody will finally get his chance at the Universal Championship without interference from the Bloodline. But if they fall short, the title match will be governed by Bloodline Rules, adding another layer of intrigue to the high-stakes showdown.

As fans speculate on the potential outcomes of Wrestlemania XL, three scenarios stand out:

  • Seth & The Rock’s Betrayal: Despite their alliance, there’s a lingering sense of unease surrounding how things will pan out leading to and on night 1 of Wrestlemania XL. Could Seth betray Cody Rhodes when it matters most? A shocking betrayal could change the course of Wrestlemania XL. If Cody and Seth lose, the Main Event for Undisputed Universal Championships on night 2 will be governed by Bloodline rules. Fans can anticipate another surprise with the People’s Champ betraying the Tribal Chief and helping Cody finish his story.
  • Jey Uso Hands over Bloodline’s Defeat: Jey Uso, who has been away from all the drama unfolding around the Bloodline & Universal Championship, may interfere on night 1 during the tag match, causing The Bloodline to lose. If Seth and Cody manage to overcome the Bloodline on Day 1 of Wrestlemania, Cody will have a clear path to the Universal Championship. But with the Bloodline’s history, nothing is certain. The Bloodline may still interfere on Day 2, and Roman retains his Universal Championship.
  • Damian Priest’s Moment: With the Money in the Bank contract in his possession, Damian Priest looms as a threat in the Universal Title Race. Should Cody emerge victorious against Roman Reigns, Priest could seize the opportunity to cash in his contract, potentially stopping Cody from finishing his story. Given that the Archer of Infamy has failed to cash in against Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship on multiple occasions, he may opt to cash in for the Universal Championship this time.

As Wrestlemania XL approaches, the stage is set for two nights of explosive action, where alliances will be tested, loyalties will be questioned, and champions will rise. With so much uncertainty and anticipation surrounding the outcome, one can’t help but wonder: Will his story finish? Or will a new chapter begin?
